standard light bulbs to energy efficient light bulbs. To start you need to input what power of bulbs you are currently using, how many hours in a day it is on for, and how many of these you have. The energy savings calculator can work out the rest for you.
How Much Carbon Can I Save
Switching your light bulbs to energy efficient bulbs will help but as the energy consumed is typically one fifth that of conventional bulbs.
However the carbon used to generate the energy varies greatly. Check with
your energy supplier for details of the carbon cost per KW/hr.

About This Calculator
We have made 2 assumptions in using this calculator, firstly that energy
efficient bulbs reduce power consumption by one fifth, and secondly that typical
UK costs are around £0.10 per Kw/hr.
